About the Role:

Our newest product called Signals that offers insights on software companies is growing rapidly, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data QA Manager to join our Data Product team in India. This individual will be responsible for managing a large team of 10+ Data QA Specialists who oversee the key data cleaning and quality assurance processes that power the data and insights we deliver to our customers. This cleaned data will then be used to build insights products in YipitData’s fastest-growing initiative. This position offers the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the growth of our company.

This is a fully remote role based in India. 

In general, we expect some overlap with U.S. work hours, and we require greater flexibility (i.e., more overlap) during the first few weeks of training and onboarding. More details on work-hour expectations will be shared during the recruiting process. We expect hires to start in the position by March 24, 2025 or soon after.

As Our Data QA Manager, You Will:

• Directly drive Signals product and revenue growth through your work
• Manage a team of 10+ Data QA Specialists who:
  
  • Own the data cleaning and quality assurance processes for Signals data from several data sources, including financial data and invoices
• Extract and evaluate key insights from financial data including identifying expense transactions and determining software subscription periods
• Work primarily in our proprietary data cleaning platform to do manual QA review
• Be responsible for engagement, motivation, and career development of individuals on your team as a full-time people manager 
• Collaborate with team leads who will be double checking the work of individuals on your team and providing you with feedback on their work
• Ensure your team consistently hits their target KPIs for data QA efficiency and accuracy
• Track and report key metrics to leadership on the performance of your team
• Work closely with leadership on potentially hiring and scaling your team further this year
• Collaborate with key stakeholders based in the U.S., Brazil, and India
• Have the opportunity to grow your career on the Signals team with increasing levels of responsibility and diversified ownership areas

You Are Likely to Succeed If:

• You have 3+ years of management experience with 8+ direct reports
• You have 5+ years of experience working on a Data or QA role/team
• You have 2+ years of experience working as a data or quality assurance analyst
• You have experience managing a large team while working in a high-growth, startup environment
• You have a proven ability to collaborate with a global team and for a US-based employer
• You have a proven track record of managing a team successfully to hit their KPIs
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, English proficiency (spoken, written), and the ability to interact effectively with internal teams across time zones and cultures
