Senior Business Analyst - TripActions
We are in search of a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our growth team in Navan. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in data analysis, a self-learner with a strong drive to excel, and a proven track record of turning data into actionable insights.
What You’ll Do:
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis using analytics tools (Amplitude, ThoughtSpot) to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Translate complex data sets into actionable recommendations for product improvements and strategic initiatives.
Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance.
- Create and present regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders, providing clear and concise summaries of findings.
Data-driven Decision Making:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven decision-making into product roadmap .
- Support A/B testing and other data-driven experiments to improve marketing outcomes.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with product managers and other team members to understand business goals and data needs.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
Data Integrity and Quality:
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data by implementing best practices for data collection, processing, and storage.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
Reporting and Infrastructure:
- Build and maintain reports, ThoughtSpot dashboards, and KPIs to monitor performance.
- Develop data processes and build data infrastructure for relevant stakeholders.
- Build and enhance multiple fact, dim and marts in DBT environment to be used utilized by advanced analytics tools
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 5 years of dedicated experience in data analysis.
- A self-learner and go-getter with a strong drive to excel.
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries – a must.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Amplitude, ThoughtSpot – a must.
- Past experience analyzing channel attribution and building attribution models – a must.
- Working in DBT environment and git hub - Advantage
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to contribute to data-driven decision-making processes.
