SAP Administrator Intern (full time, 6 months, paid)

For our SumUp ERP Implementation team, we are currently looking for an Intern SAP Administrator (Developer) in Sofia.

Our team is responsible for issuing all invoices, accounting of all transactions, including electronic invoices in different countries, integration with different payment platforms like Stripe, single source of truth for different types of data and a lot more with constantly running new integrations. All of these interfaces run because of the SAP system stability and it needs daily monitoring and simple troubleshooting. We need a person who can make day to day monitoring of SAP systems, prevent system failures and provide system health for smooth business operations.

You will participate in different projects for the implementation of S4HANA functionalities in SumUp companies, having the opportunity to learn and work with new technologies, software platforms, databases, to develop yourself in different areas and to expand your knowledge of other SAP products. We are an agile, fast paced business giving autonomy to our teams to design technical solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

Monitoring S4HANA system

Daily checks of system logs
Monitor system certificates
Daily checks electronic data interchange (EDI)
Daily checks of runtime errors

Monitoring core interfaces

Daily monitoring our middleware in development and production systems
Daily monitoring KAFKA consumers
Monitoring Grafana tools

Development of small applications

Creation of small ABAP reports
Creation of simple Fiori UI5 apps

Minimum Required Skills:

Education – Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
Basic Understanding of SAP – Some familiarity with S4HANA or a strong interest in learning SAP system monitoring and administration would be a great advantage.
Technical Curiosity & Problem-Solving – Willingness to check system logs, runtime errors, and basic troubleshooting.
Interest in Middleware & Integrations – Eager to learn about Kafka, Grafana, and electronic data interchange (EDI).
Basic Programming Knowledge – Some exposure to ABAP, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus (or willingness to learn).
Attention to Detail – Ability to monitor system stability and prevent failures.
Eager to Learn & Develop – Motivated to work on real-world SAP projects, expand knowledge, and grow in an agile environment.
