Accounting Analyst I - Affirmative position for people with disabilities (PwD) - SumUp

Team Description

The accounting team is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while maintaining compliance with accounting standards. The team works collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This role is critical in supporting monthly closings and financial analysis to ensure smooth operations.

What you’ll do

Participate in the monthly accounting close process.
Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting notes.
Liaise with auditors and provide the necessary documentation.
Manage and control intercompany transactions and fixed asset accounting.
Manage and control the inventory accouting process.

You’ll be great for this role if

You have a degree (or are in the final year) in Accounting.
You have prior experience working with accounting processes and financial reporting.
You possess strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and reference formulas.
You have an advanced level of English.
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
Spanish language proficiency.
Familiarity with Excel Macros, Python, or VBA.
