Investment Analyst - Setpoint

About the role

Behind many of life’s most important transactions — buying a house, applying for a mortgage, getting a small business loan, or refinancing a credit card — is a network of credit relationships. Setpoint provides critical operational infrastructure for relationships between the world’s largest banks, credit funds and capital markets counterparties. We’re building trust in this system of credit. 

Setpoint is looking for an Investment Analyst to join the Investments team.

What you’ll do

• Support the Managing Director, Senior Principal, and Senior Associate on the Investment team
• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis used to support the underwriting of Setpoint’s potential investment opportunities 
• Prepare internal memoranda and other materials used to support investment recommendations and to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Analyze the performance of existing investments, including both the collateral as well as the operating company
• Own the development and maintenance of internal models
• Evaluate market conditions in existing and potential new investments; provide information and analysis to develop and support asset allocation decisions related to these categories
• Provide transaction support to assist in executing new investments 

You should have

• 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in structured credit, private equity, or investment banking 
• A bias toward action, including the ability to push projects forward with minimal supervision, and bring an ownership mentality to their work
• Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability 
• Superior organization and time-management
• Attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in accounting, finance, or real estate is a plus
• Desire to be an integral part of a high growth, entrepreneurial investment firm

Compensation: $90,000 - $125,000 dependent on multiple factors, which may include the candidate's skills, experience, location, and other qualifications.
