About the Role:

The Analyst, Transportation & Claims is responsible for executing Rent the Runway’s transportation network strategy and claims program. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging internal and external business partners to ensure best-in-class customer experience across multiple carriers and distribution centers. This role will report to the Transportation Operations Manager.

What You'll Do:

• Execute and monitor daily logistics from warehouse to final delivery, including route planning and carrier capacity management.
• Implement outbound, inbound, and internal shipping strategies in partnership with Operations and Inventory teams. Work with the Transportation Operations Manager to ensure all programs meet rigorous standards for customer experience, financial performance, and operational efficiency.
• Function as the Customer Support and Retail teams’ primary point of contact to ensure that transportation strategy is meeting their needs and they are complying with all policies. Work with carriers to resolve any escalated delivery and returns-related customer issues.
• Participate in weekly quality calls with carriers to discuss delivery performance, exceptions, and timeliness of arrival and dispatch, resulting in concrete, measurable action plans.
• Manage carrier compliance with performance standards, reporting, and other obligations, and troubleshoot any issues.
• Execute emergency recovery strategies as necessary in response to natural disasters, warehouse outages, or other disruptions.
• Execute RTR’s claims program by investigating and filing claims with carriers, and responding to information requests. 

About You:

• 3+ years of professional experience or relevant internships in an analytical or data-intensive role, preferably with experience in supply chain and/or online retail (ecommerce).
• Have a positive, “can-do” attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flex shifts, hours, nights, and weekends as business dictates.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Highly proactive and action oriented. Must operate with a sense of urgency and have attention to detail.
• Forward-thinker with the ability to articulate point of view and improve processes.
• Ability to quickly recognize, diagnose, and solve for challenges.
