Principal Product Manager, OpenShift - Red Hat

About the Job

The Red Hat OpenShift Product Management team is looking for a Product Manager to join us in our Raleigh, NC office and work on our Kubernetes container platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build open source based enterprise products.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for specific Red Hat OpenShift subsystems and work with our Engineering and Product teams  who build and deliver them to market. This role has a focus on OpenShift installation and hosted control planes capabilities in the core OpenShift container platform.  You will plan and deliver product content for new releases and launches of our offerings, prioritize and communicate product requirements to guide development, support the field team in advanced sales opportunities, perform competitive reviews and analyses, and work with partners. You will actively contribute to the overall company strategy and work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Support, Sales, and Field teams to ensure the success of our offerings. You will also engage with open source communities that support our container initiatives including Kubernetes, other Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) projects, CoreOS, Fedora, and more. 

As a Principal Product Manager, you need to have great communication, teamwork, and persuasion skills to articulate product vision, foster cross-functional collaboration, and influence key stakeholders to drive successful product outcomes. The salary range for this position is $131,420.00 - $216,870.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
