Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work. This is a paid internship based in our Brno office, typically lasting 12 months, with the possibility to extend up to 24 months. Interns work on average 20 hours per week, with flexible working hours, and the expected start date is July 1st.
What you will do:
As an intern, you’ll get hands-on experience in kernel testing, automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure. You’ll:
Work with cool engineers to improve kernel testing workflows
Design and implement infrastructure for kernel test automation, bots, and CI pipelines.
Learn how CI/CD applies to kernel development
Work and learn with technologies including containers, OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS
Gain experience in open-source contributions
Work in Agile/Scrum environment
What you will bring:
You must be enrolled in a Czech university (Bachelor’s 3rd/4th year or Master’s) for the full internship duration and be able to work full-time within 2 years.
Working knowledge of written and spoken English
Basic understanding of Linux, Git, Python, and shell scripting
Curiosity about automation CI and automation
Enjoy problem-solving and learning new technologies
Working independently but asking for help is appreciated
Excitement to contribute to an open-source project!
