Job Summary
The Red hat Marketing coordinator will work in conjunction with the Field Marketing leader and assist in growing the region’s overall market and take responsibility for marketing plans and activities within specifically assigned Sales and Partners teams.
What you will do:
Develop, implement, and manage marketing plans and activities for assigned Sales teams in region
Collaborate on overall strategies, plans, and forecasts with the Field Marketing Manager
Provide exceptional service and support to Sales Account teams and other key stakeholders
Work with Sales teams to identify needs and opportunities that marketing programs can impact
Utilize the expertise and resources of other internal groups to bolster opportunity, ensuring that overall Marketing and Sales team priorities, key performance indicators (KPIs), and sales goals are maximized
Apply creativity and business acumen to content, marketing program development and implementation, event planning strategy, seminars and webinars, sales tools, training, advertising, etc.
Customize programs, promotions, and campaigns to include Red Hat’s partners and other appropriate internal groups that may benefit
Manage programs to budget; seek out alternative funding as needed
Ensure timely and consistent delivery of activities and outcomes via related project teams and marketing activities and functions
Co-own intranet partner portals with updates, Google calendar, and other internal communications
Prepare program activity reports and project dashboards that communicate program status on a regular basis; present and report to senior management on programming status during applicable meetings
Perform all administrative tasks required to track and maintain marketing momentum; upload leads into Salesforce.com (SFDC), update budgets, and populate other systems and reports as required
Process related purchase orders (POs) and facilitate payments to vendors
Serve as back-up to the Field Marketing Manager, as needed, during absences or schedule conflicts
Take on other responsibilities as assigned
What you will bring:
2+ years of experience in similar roles
Graduated in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations, Social Communications or similar
Possibility of regular configuration / breakdown work of the event site
Previous experience in Marketing Assistance is required
Knowledge of the Technology / Software Industry will be highly valued but no exclusive
High Level of Professionalism
Demonstrate good judgment and problem solving skills
Exceptional Relationship building and dynamic communication skills
Ability to be flexible with job responsibilities as needs change
