Consulting Manager - Red Hat

Job Summary

The Red Hat Consulting team is looking for a Manager focusing on consulting services to join us in Japan. In this role, you will develop, cultivate, and manage relationships within key customer accounts. You will oversee the successful delivery of projects under your management from kickoff to closeout, including determining scope details and monitoring project progress to ensure that they conform to customer expectations and contractual agreements. You will also help identify and qualify new business opportunities and work with the Red Hat Sales team to formulate account strategies that promote revenue growth. As a Manager, you will work with Red Hat’s sales representatives to guide consulting sales opportunities from qualification to closing while managing all assigned projects and resources and meeting revenue, margin, and booking goals. You'll manage senior and associate consultants including one-on-ones, support in escalation situations, performance and development conversations, and general team coordination with architects and project managers within your region. You’ll need to have a good foundation of technical knowledge, as well as project and scope management expertise, as you'll establish the technical and non-technical enablement needs for the Consulting team.
