QA Engineer - Lemonade

You’ll be instrumental in bringing platform features to the finish line while collaborating closely with developers, as well as with the Product and Data teams—working towards the collective  goal of delivering a seamless, joyful experience for our customers.


IN THIS ROLE YOU’LL

- Analyze user stories to identify test cases, ensuring an appropriate mix of manual and automated test coverage

- Mentor others on the team (developers, product managers) to promote effective quality assurance strategies and best practices

- Use data to assess the quality and identify improvement tasks that should be prioritized

- Provide an assessment of delivery readiness and collaborate with other teams to ensure timely releases

- Maintain our outstanding standards for customer experience by having a diligent eye for UI 


WHAT YOU’LL NEED

- 4+ years experience as a QA engineer

- Hands-on experience running manual tests on multiple platforms for user-facing products

- Ability to create beautifully written test plans, define testing strategies, and document knowledge

- Hands-on experience with testing API requests and complex systems

- Fast and independent learner

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

- Superior analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

- Experience with UI or API automation tools (Cypress, Loadmill, Pytest, etc.) is a major advantage

- Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
