About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director-Product Design to lead our design team,  create & drive the vision, strategy, and execution of our product design initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in user-centered design, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional user experiences.

A Day in the Life

• Design Evangelism: Set an ambitious vision for the department and the company. Regularly engage with executives on important decisions and initiatives.
• Coach Product Design Leaders: Help Product Design leaders enhance their skills and leadership experience.
• Budget and Resourcing: Manage the budget for Product Design, including compensation planning, non-headcount budget allocations, and trade-offs.
• Cross-Product Collaboration: Ensure that Product Design is seamlessly integrated into the product development process. Advocate for process changes that facilitate collaboration between product management, engineering, and product design to create exceptional experiences.
• Establish UX as a Shared Responsibility: Ensure other functions are engaged in the product design process. Offer them opportunities to participate in and understand the outcomes of user research, and provide early feedback on upcoming designs.
• Research Evangelism: Champion user research and collaborate with product leadership to prioritize research efforts, validating that we are addressing the right problems in effective ways.
• UX Initiatives: Identify opportunities to enhance the experience of Innovaccer products, manage initiatives to address these opportunities, and track and communicate progress.
• Goal Setting: Define value-driven, yearly, and quarterly Product Design OKRs, and oversee their execution.
• Culture: Foster an open and collaborative culture based on trust, empowering everyone to deliver their best work.
• Team Building: Hire and retain a world-class team of Product Designers, UX Researchers, Technical Writers, and their managers.
  
  

 What You Need

• 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in leadership/mentorship roles
• Deep expertise in user experience (UX) design, user interface (UI) design, interaction design, and information architecture
• Proven track record of leading successful product design initiatives and delivering impactful user experiences.
• Strong understanding of design thinking, user-centered design principles, and design systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field

Our Noida office is situated in a posh techspace, equipped with various amenities to support our work environment. Here, we follow a five-day work schedule, allowing us to efficiently carry out our tasks and collaborate effectively within our team.
