SUMMARY
The Transition-Aged Youth (TAY) Health and Wellness Center Director will have the exciting opportunity to shape and lead a brand-new program at GLIDE. As the director of the TAY Health and Wellness Center (TAY HWC), you will be instrumental in developing and implementing outreach, engagement, and supportive services for transition-aged youth (ages 18-27) in San Francisco. This 24/7 drop-in center, located at 888 Post Street, will serve as a crucial resource for young people seeking a safe, welcoming space to access basic needs and comprehensive services aimed at long-term stability, health, and economic independence.

In this pioneering role, you will provide visionary leadership to a dedicated team, overseeing day-to-day program operations and ensuring that the center meets its mission to empower TAY. Your focus will be on building a strong foundation for the program, from establishing core priorities to developing strategies for outreach, service delivery, and resource integration.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with all funding requirements and managing relationships with external partners, including city departments and funders. You will also collaborate across GLIDE’s internal teams, driving innovation and supporting cross-departmental solutions to enhance service delivery for TAY. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact and help define the future of this vital program.

Please note this role is expected to start in June 2025 as we finalize the construction of the center.

The Center Director must be able to periodically work non-traditional hours (early evenings, holidays and weekends).
