Druva has an exciting opportunity for a Competitive Intelligence Manager to be part of the Competitive Intelligence (CI) team. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to not only conduct research but analyze and provide actionable insights to positively influence corporate strategy, sales, and product roadmap. Candidates should be able to successfully work independently, proactively and collaborate with not just the CI team, but with other groups within the Druva organization.
Responsibilities include:
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching market trends and identifying new competitors or new capabilities from existing vendors entering the data security and protection space.
- Analyze customer and competitor behavior to deliver insights that directly shape Druva’s sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategies.
- Translate findings into compelling visuals and enablement content for teams across the business.
- Dive into technical product comparisons, including architecture and feature gap analysis, to support product and roadmap discussions.
- Partner with sales leaders to tackle region-specific competitive challenges with tailored strategies.
- Build tools, dashboards, and automation to streamline competitive intelligence efforts and make insights more actionable.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in competitive intelligence, market research & analysis, business strategy, business development, or related field with strategic/critical thinking
- Technical hands-on experience and willingness to dive deep into the products.
- Solid familiarity with the data security and data protection markets, players, and vendor offerings
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data/research, analyze, identify trends, and present logical conclusions and recommendations to leadership
- Strength in communication – ability to clearly present findings
- Fast learner with a positive attitude and time management skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical/strategic thinking capabilities
- Familiarity with using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Co-pilot for data insights and content generation preferred
