As a Business Development Representative (Customer-facing), you play an essential role in DataRobot’s direct sales team. Your role involves conducting in-depth research into organizations and key decision-makers across North America and proactively engaging them in discussions on how DataRobot can help them overcome some of their biggest challenges. Key Responsibilities:
Diligently research target accounts assigned to you and stay on top of new announcements, annual reports, press releases, and other publicly available information.
Map out the organization structure and key influencers within each target account.
Research areas of interest for key decision makers and potential routes to engage them.
Craft well-researched, creative outreach campaigns tailored to the findings of your research.
Professionally and persistently follow up via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other means identified from the research.
Conduct initial introductory and discovery discussions to help qualify potential.
Book qualified meetings and provide the sales team with detailed, well-formatted handover notes from initial discussions.
Consistently meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators and contribute to the continued hypergrowth of the region.
Understand industry trends and show dedication to continuous learning on all professional fronts.
Provide feedback to peers and internal teams to help develop and improve marketing materials and messaging.
Adapt messaging to suit the needs of the local market.
Maintain up-to-date information in Salesforce.com and Outreach.io.
