The Opportunity
The Community team drives community engagement and relationship building. We advocate for creatives within Adobe and drive thought leadership, engagement, and grassroots marketing programs to support our product categories. We partner with a broad set of internal organizations, including Global Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Product Release & Program Management, Go to Market, and Engagement & Retention.
We are looking for an exceptional Creative Community Relationship Manager to grow and support the Japanese community in support of the Creative Cloud business. This role is an exciting opportunity to build significant connections with creatives, advocate for their needs within Adobe, and cultivate a dynamic community through events, content, and collaboration. If you're passionate about supporting creatives, and have experience interacting with the Japanese community in-person and online, we’d love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Build and cultivate relationships with creatives across Japan, ensuring they feel supported and connected.
Partner with Japanese and global business, marketing, product and social teams to ensure community activities support broader marketing, product and business initiatives.
Advocate for customers by sharing their feedback with Adobe's product, marketing, and leadership teams.
Organize and host community meetups (up to 50 attendees) and larger events (200+ attendees) to bring the community together with Adobe.
Recruit new community leaders (content creators) and coordinate content creation using Adobe tools.
Develop engaging content and resources that share knowledge of Adobe tools, helping creatives unlock their full potential.
Plan and implement community summits that strengthen relationships and supports collaboration between community members and internal Adobe teams.
Coordinate NDA discussions and feedback sessions and share input back with partner teams
Collect and synthesize community feedback to ensure Adobe continues to meet the evolving needs of Japanese creatives.
Encourage, coordinate, and amplify community content regarding Adobe products, messaging and communities.
Coordinate with global community team to find opportunities and resources to support growing the Japanese community.
Collaborate across teams and thrive in a start-up like organization within a larger corporate setting
What You Need to Succeed
5+ years working and collaborating with Japanese creatives.
10+ years of hands-on experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
5+ years of experience coordinating meetups and events (preferably with creative professionals)
A deep understanding of the Japanese creative culture, needs, and aspirations. Understanding of your core audience based on your own experiences.
Fluency in both Japanese and English, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Based in Japan, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across multiple time zones.
A passion for creativity and fostering community, empowering creatives, and bridging the gap between users and internal teams.
Extensive understanding of online community dynamics and best practices, with a proven history of successfully building, fostering, and nurturing large-scale communities.
Engaging and dynamic human interaction skills.
Familiarity with online creative groups in Japan a plus
